24 Oct Santé Fitness Lab to open in Ayala Land’s Vermosa Sports Hub
Representatives from Ayala Land Inc. led by Jay Teodoro (Head, Vermosa Estate) and Santé International CEO Joey Marcelo yesterday signed the contract for the Santé Fitness Lab at Vermosa Sports Hub facility in Cavite.
With this partnership project, athletes will soon have a one-stop-shop for all their training, race, and recovery needs within Vermosa. This will include an Olympic size pool of 50m (with 10 lanes), 400m track oval (with 9 lanes), and a sports science and fitness laboratory to be supplied by Santé.
A portmanteau of the words verde (green) and mossa (movement), Vermosa was actually master-planned to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, less than an hour away from Makati as explained by Teodoro.
Meanwhile, Santé International’s core is anchored on health and wellness products and services. They’re currently the largest barley grass manufacturer in the country and operates internationally as well. Santé Barley triathlon team is also one of the strongest in the community with constant podium finishes.
Vermosa Sports Hub pool and oval are expected to be operational this November while Santé Fitness Lab aims to open in December, also within the year. The Fitness Lab will also include indoor cycling facility, bike fitting, strength and conditioning with proper rehab, and more.
“This will be the new home of Philippine sports. In this facility, we will be creating the next champions,” said Marcelo.
Present in the event were members of Santé Barley Tri Team, Sante Fitness Group, Alveo Tri Team of Ayala Land, and Vermosa Project Team. Santé fitness ambassador Kuya Kim Atienza also attended the signing.
